"IT"

This is an old blog entry I posted in a forum last year.

It’s addictive, it’s impulsive, and it can be very, very elusive
Some spend a lifetime searching for it, only the search continues
Some hold it in the palm of their hands, only they don’t realize

It’s here, it’s there, it’s everywhere, yet, sometimes it seems to be nowhere
It’s sweet, it’s bitter, it’s sour, and sometimes it can be a smorgasbord of all flavors

It can brighten you day, or, it can send your world into a total whirlwind
It can be as clear as a bright, sunny day, or, it can be as gloomy as a dark, cloudy day

You can find a million books on it, only they don’t help
You wish upon a star for it
You thank your lucky star when you find it

Treasure it when you find it!

There is just one rule, however -
Never take it for granted, no matter how time progresses

What is IT?

IT has a “name”, and the name is:

LOVE

Have I found "IT", you asked? Oh, you bet! Not only that, I’m swimming in it!
